Smart Hydronic Underfloor Heating — Integrated into Wiser

The Drayton Wiser Underfloor Heating Controller (WF762F1A0902) brings water-based (hydronic) underfloor heating into the Wiser smart home ecosystem, allowing it to be controlled and scheduled alongside radiators from a single app. It connects wirelessly to the Wiser HubR via ZigBee, enabling remote control, smart scheduling and voice assistant integration without any additional wiring between the manifold and the controller.

Each controller manages up to 6 independent UFH zones using up to 14 thermal actuator outputs, and includes dedicated boiler and pump contacts to provide flow on demand. Where heating and cooling is needed — for example with a reversible heat pump — the controller supports both modes automatically. Up to 3 controllers can be used in a single system, providing up to 16 zones of total heating and cooling control across the whole property.

✅ Can be commissioned and tested without a Wiser HubR or Wi-Fi connection — useful for installer pre-testing before the hub is installed.

Each UFH zone requires:

  • One Wiser Room Thermostat (wireless, battery-powered) positioned in the zone to measure room temperature
  • One or more thermal actuators (e.g. Wiser TS Ultra) fitted to the UFH manifold loops serving that zone

The controller then opens and closes the actuators based on the thermostat's demand signal, and fires the boiler/pump contacts when any zone calls for heat. For cooling systems (reversible heat pump), the controller switches to cooling mode automatically when the connected heat pump operates in reverse.
