Once installed behind a wall switch or in a ceiling void, it provides full app-based and voice control of any blind or shutter motor equipped with limit switches — without the need for additional wiring to a separate controller unit.
Mechanically and electronically interlocked relay contacts prevent both motor directions from being energised simultaneously, protecting the motor and mechanism from damage. The module connects to the Wiser system via ZigBee and communicates through the Wiser Hub, appearing alongside heating controls, sensors and plugs in the Wiser Home app for unified smart home management.
Set automations to open blinds at sunrise and close them at sunset, or link shade control to temperature or motion sensor events — for example, automatically closing blinds when indoor temperature rises above a threshold. Up to 64 ZigBee devices can be connected to a Wiser system hub.
