L-Shaped & Stepped Arrays Portrait & Landscape G1 & M10 Module Formats 4 Corner Positions Clearline Fusion System 19 Variants Viridian Solar
The Viridian Clearline Fusion F16 Corner Conversion Kit range enables Clearline PV16 arrays to be installed in L-shaped or stepped configurations — where the array is not a simple rectangle but has a step or corner to work around a roof obstacle, Velux window, chimney, or hip. Corner kits are used in addition to — not instead of — standard F16 flashing kits (F16-T for portrait, F16-L for landscape). There are four corner positions: Left Top (CLT), Right Top (CRT), Right Bottom (CRB), and Left Bottom (CLB/CLB-S). The CLB position has two sub-variants depending on which panel is above the step. Available in G1 and M10 module formats and for both portrait and landscape orientations. Must be used alongside the Corner Conversion Kit installation manual (80035) and the main installation manual (80032).
⚠️ Corner kits are add-ons, not standalone kits. You must also order the standard F16 flashing kits for all non-corner positions in your array. Read the Clearline Fusion Corner Conversion Kit manual (document 80035) alongside the main installation manual (80032) before ordering.
Corner Positions — What Each Kit Does

|---|---|---|---|
| F16-CLT / F16-LCLT | Left Top Corner | Top-left corner of the step — where the array steps down-left | Contains gutter extension, top flashing (single panel or left panel), lower and upper side flashings. Brackets provided by adjacent TY/LY kit. |
| F16-CRT / F16-LCRT | Right Top Corner | Top-right corner of the step — where the array steps down-right | Mirrors CLT — gutter extension, right-variant top flashing, side flashings. Used with TY/LY kit brackets. |
| F16-CRB / F16-LCRB | Right Bottom Corner | Bottom-right corner of the step | Contains corner section and sill flashing; sill is fitted before the corner section. Includes left and centre top flashings. |
| F16-CLB / F16-LCLB | Left Bottom Corner (centre panel above) | Bottom-left corner where a centre panel sits above the corner step | CLB variant: shortened centre sill flashing replaces sill from TC kit. Contains lower gutter and gutter covers for the gap between the two panels above. |
| F16-CLB-S / F16-LCLB-S | Left Bottom Corner (left panel above) | Bottom-left corner where a left-edge panel sits above the corner step | CLB-S variant: shortened left sill flashing replaces sill from TL kit. Includes side flashing, side brackets, right and centre top flashings. |

Frequently Asked Questions
QDo I need corner kits if my array is a simple rectangle?
No. Corner conversion kits are only needed for L-shaped or stepped arrays where the array has a step at one or more corners. For rectangular arrays, standard F16-T (portrait) or F16-L (landscape) kits cover every position and no corner kits are required.
QWhat is the difference between CLB and CLB-S?
Both are left-bottom corner kits. The difference is which panel sits above the corner step: CLB is used when a centre-column panel (TC kit position) is immediately above the corner — it includes a shortened centre sill flashing that replaces the sill from the TC kit. CLB-S is used when a left-edge panel (TL kit position) is immediately above — it includes a shortened left sill flashing that replaces the sill from the TL kit. The landscape equivalents are LCLB and LCLB-S.
QCan I mix portrait and landscape corner kits on the same roof?
No. The entire array must be in one orientation. Use portrait corner kits (F16-CLT, F16-CRT etc.) with portrait standard kits (F16-TL, F16-TC etc.) and M10 or G1 consistently throughout.
QIn what order do I install corner arrays?
The corner installation manual specifies installing panels in columns from bottom to top, starting with the left column and moving right. This differs from the standard left-to-right column approach and is critical for correctly engaging corner flashings.
QAre there corner kits for all four corners?
The range covers left-top (CLT), right-top (CRT), right-bottom (CRB) and left-bottom (CLB/CLB-S). A typical L-shaped step uses two of these positions. Note that no G1 variant exists for CRT in the current range — M10 only for the right-top corner in portrait.
QDo corner kits work on sarking board roofs?
Yes, in combination with the appropriate SB16 sarking bracket kits for each standard flashing kit position in the array. The corner kit flashings themselves are not affected by batten type, but the standard rafter brackets adjacent to the corner must be replaced with sarking brackets as needed.
