QWhat is the difference between VAL16 and F16-LL / F16-LR?
The VAL16 is an all-in-one kit that combines left and right edge flashings for a single standalone panel in landscape orientation. The F16-LL and F16-LR are separate left-edge and right-edge kits used when building a multi-panel landscape array (two or more columns wide). For a single panel, always use VAL16. For 2+ columns, use F16-LL + F16-LR (plus F16-LC for centre columns, F16-LY for additional rows, and F16-LJ for joining positions above the bottom row).
QCan I use VAL16 to add a second panel later?
Not directly. If you later want to add panels to a VAL16 installation, the kit arrangement must be converted to the standard F16-L multi-panel system using F16-LL and F16-LR kits (and others as required). Plan your final array size before installation if possible, as retrofitting additional panels requires removing and replacing the VAL16 kit components.
