The myenergi Current Transformer (CT100-16-05) is a 100A split-core CT clamp with a 5-metre cable, designed for use with myenergi devices including the eddi energy diverter, zappi EV charger, and harvi wireless sensor. It clamps non-invasively around the grid import/export cable at the meter board, allowing myenergi devices to measure exactly how much energy is being imported from or exported to the grid — without any interruption to the live circuit.
A current transformer (CT) is a non-invasive sensor that clips around a live cable and measures the current flowing through it by detecting its magnetic field — no need to cut or interrupt the circuit. The myenergi CT produces a small signal voltage proportional to the current, which the connected myenergi device uses to calculate real-time power flow.
