Like all HeatBoard ONE variants, the ONE PLUS is a load-bearing structural panel that installs directly onto floor joists at up to 600mm centres. It replaces the conventional 22mm chipboard or plywood floor deck entirely — the heating system is built into the floor construction rather than added on top of it. This keeps the floor build-up to just 22mm above joist level (excluding any overlay), making it suitable for both new build and renovation projects where floor height matters.

Each 1,200 × 600mm board contains 4 pre-routed pipe channels at 150mm centres, sized for 12mm underfloor heating pipe. The 150mm pipe spacing is the standard for residential UFH in well-insulated homes insulated to current UK Building Regulations. The grooves incorporate turns at both ends of each board, enabling the pipe to loop back and forward across the room in a serpentine pattern without additional bends or fittings.

Can ONE PLUS be used with a heat pump?
