How do I control it — is there a smartphone app?
The unit comes with an infrared remote controller as standard. The optional Connect Key G10 CL-1 (sold separately) adds Wi-Fi and enables full control via the Bosch HomeCom Easy app on iOS and Android.
What does i-Clean actually do?
After a cooling or heating cycle, i-Clean runs a self-drying and sanitising cycle on the evaporator coil, heating it to 56°C to kill bacteria, mould and other biological contaminants. This maintains hygiene, prevents musty odours and eliminates up to 99% of bacteria between service visits.
Is professional installation required?
Yes. This system contains R32 refrigerant, a regulated fluorinated greenhouse gas. Installation must be carried out by an F-Gas registered engineer. Electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Attempting DIY installation is unlawful and will void the manufacturer's warranty.
