Kamco Clearflow CF20 Compact Power Flushing Pump 230V | With Starter Kit | Up to 15 Radiators | Underfloor Heating | Air Source Applications | 20L Tank
Kamco Clearflow CF20 Compact — Model CDP020F | 20L translucent HDPE tank | 0.45 kW / 230V motor | Up to 15 radiators (2 storeys) | Suitable for domestic hydronic, underfloor and air source applications
The Kamco Clearflow CF20 Compact is a handheld, lightweight professional power flushing machine — the most portable in the Clearflow range. Despite its compact footprint (250 × 450 × 540 mm) and sub-12 kg weight, it delivers genuine professional performance, circulating water and chemical at high velocity to dislodge and remove the rust, sludge and scale that rob heating systems of their efficiency.
Invented by Kamco in 1992, power flushing remains the most effective method of cleaning existing central heating systems, especially those carrying decades of accumulated corrosion debris. The CF20's acid-proof construction makes it dual purpose: in hard water areas it can also be used to descale domestic boilers and water heaters using Kamco's Scalebreaker chemicals.
The CF20 is well suited to air source heat pump installations where system flushing and glycol filling are key commissioning steps, as well as conventional domestic systems, underfloor heating circuits, and the descaling of plate heat exchangers.
🎓 Free Proficiency Training Included — Every Clearflow purchase includes a free training session at Kamco's UK Training Academy in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Training must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.

What's Included
📦 Box Contents:
- Clearflow CF20 Compact power flushing pump
- 2 × 5 m flow and return hoses (16 mm I.D. reinforced PVC)
- 1 × dump hose
- Hose end fittings and couplings
- Starter pack of power flushing chemicals and corrosion inhibitor (sufficient for approximately 1–2 power flushes)
- Comprehensive operating manual
- Free proficiency training session voucher (St Albans, subject to availability)
Which Chemical to Use?
Kamco recommends two primary flushing chemicals for use with the CF20 Compact:
- Power Flush FX2 (one shot): Use for systems with steel, copper, brass and plastic pipework. Dissolves sludge and scale simultaneously in one visit. Dose: 2.5 L per 100 L system capacity (approx. 10–12 radiators); 5 L for severely blocked systems. Follow with Neutralising Crystals.
- HyperFlush: Use for systems containing aluminium radiators or aluminium boiler heat exchangers. No neutralisation required after flushing.
- SystemSafe DM (corrosion inhibitor): Must be added to the clean system after flushing, in compliance with Building Regulations Part L and Benchmark documentation requirements.
Installation & Operation Notes
- Must be operated by a suitably qualified heating engineer. Power flushing is not a DIY task.
- Suitable for domestic gas, oil and electric heating systems, underfloor heating circuits, and air source heat pump primary circuits.
- Connection is typically made across the circulator pump ports or across the boiler flow and return after removing the boiler from the circuit.
- Use with a residual current circuit breaker (RCD) at all times. PAT test the unit annually.
- Wear suitable PPE when handling chemicals: gloves, eye protection, and work in a well-ventilated area.
- After flushing, add a DWTA-approved corrosion inhibitor to comply with Benchmark and Building Regulations Part L.
- Service and repair via Kamco's St Albans service workshop. Register your pump at kamco.co.uk for warranty records.
