The Heatrae Sadia Megaflo Eco Direct DDD range provides the power and flexibility of three 3 kW titanium immersion heaters (9 kW total) in one unvented cylinder — designed for large domestic properties, high-demand applications, and installations where maximum electric hot water capacity is required. Available in 210, 250, and 300 litres, these are directly electrically heated cylinders with no boiler connection; they store water at mains pressure and deliver up to 76 litres per minute at 3 bar. Built from high-grade duplex stainless steel with a lifetime inner-tank guarantee and full safety kit supplied.
Megaflo Eco Direct DDD cylinders must be installed and commissioned by a G3 accredited competent person. All electrical connections — including the three separate immersion heater circuits at up to 9 kW total load — must be made by a qualified electrician to current IET Wiring Regulations. Each immersion requires a dedicated fused spur or circuit breaker.
DDD models are heated exclusively by their three 3 kW titanium immersion heaters. There is no boiler coil. These cylinders are ideal for all-electric homes, properties without gas, off-peak Economy 7/10 installations, and applications demanding high electric heating capacity. The DD models (2 × 3 kW = 6 kW) are the standard choice for most domestic installations. All three elements can also be wired to different circuits to enable zone-by-zone control.
Three independently controlled 3 kW titanium immersion heaters give 9 kW of installed electric heating capacity.
