The Bosch RT10-RFV (7736701575) is a digital wireless Smart TRV head designed to work with the Worcester Bosch EasyControl thermostat. It replaces an existing TRV head on a radiator, pairing wirelessly with the EasyControl to give per-room temperature control, scheduling, and app management. The integrated room temperature sensor allows each TRV to report its room temperature to the app and control the radiator valve independently — turning the radiator off when the room reaches the target temperature regardless of what other rooms are doing.

Key Features

Per-room wireless temperature control

The RT10-RFV's integrated sensor measures the actual room temperature and reports it to the EasyControl app. Each TRV operates its radiator valve independently based on its own room setpoint — so a bedroom can be kept cool while the living room is warm, without complex zone valve wiring.

M30×1.5mm thread — fits most radiators

The M30×1.5mm connection is the standard European thread for TRV valve bodies and is used by the vast majority of modern radiator valves. The RT10-RFV fits directly without adapters on these bodies. For older Danfoss RA, Siemens, and other non-standard valve bodies, the adapters supplied in the box allow installation without replacing the valve body.

Child lock — app-controlled

The child lock prevents the set temperature from being changed manually at the TRV head — the radiator can only be adjusted via the EasyControl app. This is useful in children's bedrooms, rental properties, or any room where accidental or unauthorised temperature changes need to be prevented.

2× AA batteries — ~2 year life

No mains wiring is required — the RT10-RFV is entirely battery powered. The two included AA batteries last approximately two years under normal use. Battery status is reported in the EasyControl app so replacement can be planned before the battery runs out.

Geofencing & schedules via app

The RT10-RFV participates fully in the EasyControl geofencing and presence detection system — the TRV will reduce temperature when the household has left and restore it on return, in coordination with the main thermostat. Individual room schedules can be set per day of the week via the app.

Starter packs available

For new installations, the EasyControl + 3 Smart TRV sets (MPN 7736701555 white or 7736701556 black) provide the thermostat and three TRV heads in a single box — saving the cost of purchasing them separately and ensuring everything is paired correctly out of the box.

Orientation note: The RT10-RFV is the vertical (angled) orientation Smart TRV — designed for radiator valves where the spindle points horizontally, i.e. the valve body projects sideways from the radiator. Check the orientation of your existing TRV valve bodies before ordering to confirm the correct variant.

Important — thermostat room: Do not fit a Smart TRV on a radiator in the same room as the EasyControl wall thermostat. If both are in the same room and set to different temperatures, the heating can run continuously. In the thermostat room, leave the radiator uncontrolled (remove the TRV head entirely or use a lockshield valve).
