Load rating. Maximum continuous load is 13 A (approx. 3,000 W at 240 V). Do not use with appliances whose combined or peak current draw exceeds this — motor-start current surges on some appliances (air-conditioning units, large compressors) can briefly exceed 13 A. Check the nameplate current of the connected appliance.
